Samsung signs partnership with iFixit for new program
Unfortunately, each and every one of us learned the hard way that phone repairs are pretty costly. Replacing a broken screen costs at least a couple hundred dollars, while a new battery is often a process that’s way too complicated and typically requires the hand of a professional. While tutorials on how to do the whole thing on our own are all over the web, it goes without saying this isn’t a job for the Average Joe. But this doesn’t necessarily it can’t be. And Samsung apparently believes the same thing, with the company now announcing a partnership with iFixit whose purpose is to make it easier for customers out there to repair their phones on their own.
