Sidney Green thrust herself between her boyfriend and her 51-year-old father, Laurence Green, to break them up, according to police. But as the trio struggled, Sidney’s father allegedly stabbed her in the stomach inside her apartment at the Bay Cove Apartments in Clearwater on May 8. Sidney later died at Morton Plant Hospital. Laurence Green was arrested the morning of May 9 on a manslaughter charge.
