Google is celebrating National Small Business Week by offering online learning scholarships worth up to $100,000 in workforce training. As Reuters reports, companies in the US can apply for up to 500 Google Career Certificates to train employees for jobs in data analytics, digital marketing and e-commerce, IT support, project management, or user experience (UX) design. The offer marks an expansion of Google’s Career Certificates program, which launched in 2018 to help people globally enhance their resumés. « It’s no secret that businesses of all sizes are struggling to acquire and retain talent, » Lisa Gevelber, founder of Grow with Google, the unit overseeing certificates, wrote in a blog announcement.
