Major Xbox exclusives Starfield and Redfall delayed to 2023

Bethesda announced on Thursday that Xbox exclusives Starfield and Redfall have both been delayed to the first half of 2023.
Bethesda announced on Thursday that it has decided to delay its upcoming games Starfield and Redfall to 2023. Starfield is the next single-player RPG from Bethesda Game Studios, the developer of the Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises. Redfall is an open-world FPS developed by Arkane Studios, best known for Dishonored and Deathloop. In a tweet this Thursday, Bethesda confirmed the delays for its two remaining 2022 releases. Not only were they set to be two of the bigger games of the fall, but they were also going to be the first Bethesda titles exclusive to Xbox consoles after the acquisition. Microsoft bought Bethesda Softworks and parent company ZeniMax Media in September of 2020. Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, Arkane, and more joined Microsoft Game Studios after the sale. In addition to Elder Scrolls and Fallout, the teams are responsible for franchises such as Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake, and Prey.
