The two princes got into Rod Stewart’s rendition of the hit song while waving British flags.
Prince George, 8, and Prince William were seen belting out the words to « Sweet Caroline » in an unguarded moment at the Platinum Party at the Palace, Saturday’s concert in honor of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The two princes sat with other members of the royal family throughout the concert, which was put on by Buckingham Palace and the BBC. Rod Stewart, 77, was one of the final performers after a packed lineup that started with Queen and Adam Lambert. While he was covering Neil Diamond’s « Sweet Caroline », the princes uncharacteristically danced and sang along. The @RoyalCentral Twitter account posted the clip and it quickly garnered over 10,000 likes. They captioned the video, « Prince William and Prince George are enjoying Rod Stewart. »
« Even better, they’re singing a duet », user @EddieFoskew replied.
