President Joe Biden says he hasn’t made a final decision on whether he’ll run for re-election in 2024. “Look, my intention, as I said, to begin with is that I would run again,” he told Scott Pelley of CBS News an interview broadcast Sunday evening on 60 Minutes. “But it’s just an intention. But is it a firm decision that I run again? That remains to be seen.”
Mr. Biden said “it’s much to early” to make an official declaration that he’ll run again, saying that he’ll wait until after the mid-term elections in November and “going into next year” he will “make a decision about what to do.
