‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ first reactions: ‘Does not disappoint’

Black Panther rises again.
Marvel’s “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” has just a few days to go before it hits the big screen, but the reviews are already rolling in.
The superhero flick will debut on Nov. 11 as the sequel to 2018’s highly-praised “Black Panther.”
The Ryan Coogler-directed film is expected to serve as tribute to its late star and the clawed hero himself, Chadwick Boseman, who died suddenly in August 2020 from colon cancer at the age of 43.
He portrayed King T’Challa in the 2018 movie as well as a number of other Marvel projects involving his fierce character.
Fans across social media have applauded the upcoming release, with many echoing the same sentiments regarding its eulogy to Boseman.
“Black Panther: #WakandaForever is Marvel’s most poignant and powerful film to date. It’s heavy and dark in the way that it needed to be, and mostly abandons the studio’s trademark tone,” the Hollywood Reporter’s Brian Davids wrote.
