Apple's Emergency SOS Feature Expands to UK, France, Germany, and Ireland

The satellite safety service allows iPhone 14 users to share critical information with emergency services when they don’t have cellular or Wi-Fi coverage.
Apple has expanded its Emergency SOS satellite safety service to iPhone 14 owners in France, Germany, Ireland, and the UK. The feature was previously only available in the US and Canada.
The service allows users to tap into satellite connectivity when cellular and Wi-Fi service is unavailable. It’s primarily for contacting emergency services, though iPhone 14 owners can also share their location via satellite with friends and family using the Find My app.
Your iPhone 14 needs to be running iOS 16.1 or above for Emergency SOS to work. With the rollout of iOS 16.
