Apple has been working on its microLED technology for over six years now, and will be offering the same via the Apple Watch Ultra in late 2024.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to use its own microLED displays in the Apple iPhone, iPad, and Mac, after first showcasing the technology in the Apple Watch Ultra. The new Apple Watch Ultra, which will be equipped with a microLED display, is slated to launch at the end of 2024.
The latest edition of the Power On newsletter carries a post where Gurman has explained that Apple has been working on the microLED technology for almost six years.
