Drew Barrymore presented some sage advice for those looking to end a relationship: don’t wait! During today’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the talk show host said she believes there’s no time like the present to dump someone — even if it’s just before Valentine’s Day.
In a timely Drew’s News headline, Barrymore and co-host Ross Mathews discussed “Valentighting” — the act of ending a relationship right before Valentine’s Day so you don’t have to buy the person a gift. Surprisingly, both hosts were totally on board with the concept — and made solid arguments as to why.
While Mathews first thought Valentighting was “gross,” he said, “But then I thought, whatever the reason is to end a relationship that’s not working, is the right reason. If it’s not for you, if you shouldn’t be there, if you’re wasting time in this relationship, whatever you have to tell yourself to get out of it, girl, do you and move on.
