Nissan recalls over 712,000 Rogue models: Key issue could turn off engine while driving

Nissan is recalling more than 712,000 of its Rogue and Rogue Sport SUVs in the U.S. and Canada because of a potential issue with the ignition key, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report. 
Nissan said the recall affects vehicles with a jackknife style ignition key, as the key may collapse into a folded position while driving. If the vehicle is driven with the key in the folded position, contact with the key fob which could inadvertently shut off the vehicle while driving.
Over 809,000 vehicles are part of the recall internationally, with 712,458 vehicles affected in the U.
