Bad Bunny performed on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke segment and belted out Ariana Grande and Harry Styles tracks.
Bad Bunny joined James Corden for the “Carpool Karaoke” segment of The Late Late Show Tuesday (March 14) to chat about the origins of his musical career and to sing a variety of hit songs.
The Puerto Rican rapper performed his own songs “Dakiti,” “I Like It,” and “Tití Me Preguntó,” as well as covers of “Break Free” by Ariana Grande and “As It Was” by Harry Styles. Needless to say, all this star power left everybody in shambles.
At the top of the interview, Corden asked Bad Bunny about his stage name. “The first concept of the artist I wanted to be was this kind of artist that doesn’t reveal his identity,” explained the singer. “I never wanted to be so famous, but then I just went with the flow,” he added, revealing that he got rid of his original idea of performing under a bunny mask.
Explaining his reasoning behind his pseudonym, Bad Bunny shared, “A bunny, no matter how bad, is still looking cute.”
As Bad Bunny’s talk show appearance continued, the two started rocking out to the songs while adding commentary between musical numbers.
