Destiny 2 players should prepare for a price increase in Season Passes as Bungie recently announced changes to the pricing structure beginning with Season 21, Season of the Deep. The developer explained in their official blog post that the price changes result from their ongoing investment in crafting compelling seasonal experiences during the year of Lightfall.
The new pricing structure for the Season Passes is as follows:
Season Pass: Price will increase from 1,000 Silver to 1,200 Silver
Season Pass + 10 Ranks Bundle: Price will increase from 2,000 Silver to 2,200 Silver
These price changes will require players to purchase two Silver bundles to afford the new Season Pass, as opposed to the single bundle needed previously.
