Microsoft said it will integrate its Bing search engine into ChatGPT for all users, expanding the chatbot’s capability to provide real-time information. A previous model available only to subscribers also used Bing, although it was not disclosed. Currently ChatGPT is limited to data from before September 2021.
Nvidia’s upcoming quarterly financial report is expected to be a good one, showing its investments in AI and metaverse software subscriptions are paying off, offsetting much of the chipmaker’s loss of semiconductor sales related to ether mining. Adobe is bringing AI to Photoshop by way of a new tool called Firefly. It will work similarly to other AI image software like DALL-E by allowing people to “add, extend, or remove content” from images using text prompts. Any AI-altered images will be labeled with metadata in an effort to increase transparency.
