The original Red Dead Redemption was first released in 2010 and introduced the gaming world to gunslinger John Marston. He remains one of the best and most tragic Rockstar protagonists ever, and gamers have been obsessed with the character ever since. Rockstar would repeat the feat of delivering a beloved main character in 2018 with Red Dead Redemption 2.
