Our favorite trio of super sleuths is back! Only Murders in the Building Season 3 premieres tomorrow (August 8) on Hulu, reuniting us with true crime podcasters Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez) as they tackle yet another murder in a building. Paul Rudd plays the victim this time around: a shallow movie star named Ben Glenroy who drops dead on the opening night of Charles and Oliver’s new Broadway show. Did Charles slay his rival? Could the killer be someone else in the cast? And might it be whomever the iconic Meryl Streep is playing in this season of Only Murders in the Building?
Only Murders in the Building premiered on Hulu in the summer of 2021 and soon became one of our favorite cozy watches. The Upper West Side-set show follows three neighbors who become unlikely friends when they band together to record a true crime podcast about a death in their luxurious apartment building. While the podcast was a success, it also put the trio in the spotlight. That was good news for Broadway director Oliver and actor Charles, but less great for Mabel, who found herself accused of a vicious murder in Season 2.
