The One Piece Live Action brought some major changes to the Baratie arc.
Netflix’s One Piece Live Action series has successfully adapted the vast majority of the East Blue Saga and received overwhelming responses from the fans, the vast majority of which are positive. Gin is a very important character in the Baratie arc when it comes to the manga. He is a member of the crew of Don Krieg and, after the defeat of the Krieg Pirates in the Grand Line, he comes to the Baratie to eat some food after being starved to a near-death condition.
