After a lengthy back-and-forth battle against Apple, it looks like the folks behind Beeper Mini have found a new method to bring over Blue Bubble functionality to Android users, in what is described by some as a “desperate attempt” to provide iMessage functionality to Android.

The new workaround will require users to have access to an older iPhone model, a Mac computer, or at least someone they know with a Mac.
