These characters could be a real threat to the King of Curses, Sukuna.
Jujutsu Kaisen has introduced fans to some incredible fighters over the years. Of course, as mentioned from the very beginning of the series, Ryomen Sukuna is among the very strongest, believed to be the King of Curses. There are only a handful of characters that are worthy of taking on Sukuna in combat.
While defeating him is a task that is nearly impossible for the vast majority, rivaling him is a different thing altogether. There are quite a few characters who can, at the very least, rival him in terms of power. When it comes to defeating him, however, only one character stands a chance.
Updated on December 30, 2023: The King of Curses, Sukuna is certainly the strongest character to have ever lived in the world of JJK. His talent as well as his strength is such that none can defeat him in combat, at least so far. However, there are many characters in the story who can rival him, and others who can equal him in combat. These Ancient sorcerers were so powerful that they are still remembered as some of the best to have ever lived. While this list already goes over these powerful Jujutsu Sorcerers, Curses, or Curse Users, there are many others that have now emerged in the Culling Game arc with remarkable talent. As such, this list has now been updated accordingly. 11 Suguru Geto
Suguru is a very powerful curse manipulator and one of the most talented sorcerers to have lived in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. Fans see him take on the role of a villain in the story, largely thanks to Kenjaku. Suguru is believed to be the worst of all curse users and he’s exceptionally skilled at using curses. At the same time, he is also very skilled at hand-to-hand combat, which most people do not expect him to be, given that he fights from a range usually.
Suguru could hold his own against Satoru, despite not being as strong as him and, given that he could do that, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that he could also rival Sukuna. Of course, defeating the King of Curses would be impossible for him. 10 Yuki Tsukumo
Yuki is one of the strongest characters in the entirety of Jujutsu Kaisen. She is the mentor of Aoi Todo and she aims to create a curse-free world using her own power. Yuki possesses incredible strength and it is further backed up by her Star Crush ability, which adds tremendous weight to her attacks.
In combat, she could even overpower Kenjaku, however, the calculating mind of the latter got the better of her. Being a Special Grade, it is no surprise that Yuki could rival Sukuna in combat. However, just like the vast majority of the characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, she certainly would not be able to defeat him. 9 Mahito
Mahito is one of the most powerful curses seen in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. According to him, he is born out of the hatred that humans possess. Mahito is incredibly dangerous and has the ability to alter the souls, and, consequently, the bodies of anyone he touches.
Mahito was incredibly overpowered and even Special Grades would have trouble dealing with his powers. While he is certainly not as strong as Ryomen Sukuna, Mahito would pose quite a challenge to him in combat and that in itself is a massive feat for anyone.
