Deja Taylor, 26, could have faced five years in prison, but in state court prosecutors reached a plea deal which led them to drop a misdemeanor charge of reckless storage of a firearm, the Associated Press reported.
Taylor was sentenced for the second time on Friday in Newport News, Virginia, after initially being sentenced in November to 21 months in prison for using marijuana while owning a gun.
