LG TVs will now last longer for one key reason

If you have an LG TV from 2022 – or are planning on buying a new one – then you’ve got a long promise of software updates and feature drops
LG has officially lifted the curtain on its new TVs at CES 2024, but one of the biggest pieces of news is not the hardware itself.  
The Korean tech company has confirmed that new models in the range will get an impressive five years of webOS upgrades, starting with webOS 28. That means that even if you don’t have the latest model from LG in a few years, you’ll still get the latest feature upgrades for free.  
In addition, 2022 TVs from LG will also get this promise thanks to the new webOS Re:New program, which will launch in early 2024. So, if you have a B2, C2 or a G2, an LG OLED Flex, an LG OLED Objet Collection Posé, or LG’s 2022 QNED Mini LED 8K (QNED99/95 series) then you’ll also get these software upgrades over the next five years.
