Samsung releases January security patch update for Galaxy S21, S22 and S23 in Europe

Samsung has started rolling out January security patch update for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S23 smartphones in Europe.
Samsung is rolling out the January 2024 security patch to a range of Galaxy smartphones, starting with the Galaxy S23 series, alongside the popular Galaxy S22 and S21 families. 
The update, identified by firmware versions S91xBXXS3BWL3 for S23, S90xBXXS7DWL3 for S22, and G99xBXXS9FWL9 for S21, weighs approximately 400MB and addresses a significant number of vulnerabilities.
Particularly, it addresses nearly 75 vulnerabilities, with the majority of them being classified as “High” priority, meaning they could potentially be exploited by attackers.
One critical fix concerns a vulnerability in the “Notification service” on devices running Android 11 through 14.
