Huawei is reportedly working on a rival device to Apple’s Vision Pro which will be nearly half the weight and half the price.
It doesn’t come as a surprise that Huawei is reportedly working on a rival device to Apple’s Vision Pro spatial computer. According to the information posted on the Chinese social media platform Weibo by Li Nan, the former marketing director at Meizu (via Wccftech), the product will be called Huawei Vision and it will weigh in at 350 grams compared to the 600 grams that Apple’s Vision Pro tips the scales at. The lighter weight might allow users of Huawei’s headset to avoid some of the physical pain that some Vision Pro users cited as a reason to return their units.
Like the Apple Vision Pro, the Huawei Vision will be equipped with 4K Sony micro-OLED panels.
