The Owlbear is a creature you will encounter during Act 1 of Baldur’s Gate 3, with her cub having a quest line of his own. The owlbear serves as the boss of an optional hidden cave, and you can kill her to obtain the Head of a Broken Spear.
While killing the Owlbear is not mandatory, she is extra hostile towards intruders. You may encounter her by accident or by following the cultists. Either way, this early-game boss poses a serious threat to the players.
We have listed all the choices you can make during this encounter and the best strategy to defeat Owlbear in Baldur’s Gate 3.Owlbear Nest location in Baldur’s Gate 3
Owlbear, alongside her cub and unhatched egg, resides in a cave (X: 85, Y: 448) Northeast of the Blighted Village. The cave mouth is right next to a riverbank.

Follow the cultists to reach the cave. Once inside, your characters will do an Arcana Check.
