The first teaser trailer for “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” hit the internet Thursday night, giving audiences a first look at the sequel to Tim Burton’s quirky 1988 classic partially filmed in Massachusetts last year.
Set to a slowed-down version of Harry Belafonte’s “Day O,” the trailer begins with a funeral scene, showing us that there are now three generations of Deetz women. Jenna Ortega (“Wednesday”) plays Astrid Deetz, the daughter of Lydia (Winona Ryder) and granddaughter of Delia (Catherine O’Hara).
