Drake Bell’s former co-star on Nickelodeon’s “Drake & Josh,” Josh Peck, broke his silence on a new docuseries, “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV,” in which Bell revealed he had been sexually abused while working for Nickelodeon.Key Facts
In a post on Instagram Thursday, Peck said he finished the docuseries and “took a few days to process it,” adding he wanted “to give my support for the survivors who were brave enough to share their stories of emotional and physical abuse on Nickelodeon sets.”
Peck said he reached out to Bell privately in the post, which Bell confirmed in a TikTok Wednesday encouraging fans to “take it a little easy on [Peck]” after Bell “noticed a lot of comments” on Peck’s social media posts criticizing him for not commenting on the abuse.
Peck went on to say in the post that “children should be protected” and he hopes that the docuseries is “healing for the victims and their families » and “brings necessary change to our industry.
