“Cruel Summer” has now lived on the U.K. songs chart for 42 weeks. That makes it the third-longest-charting single of her nearly two decades in the spotlight in that country.
Currently, Swift’s tune with the most weeks spent on the U.K. songs chart is “Shake It Off.” That smash racked up 55 stays somewhere on the ranking of the most-consumed tracks in the nation before falling away.
