Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s collaborative single “I Had Some Help” shot to No. 1 on iTunes shortly after being released.
Post Malone has been steadily working his way into the country genre for more than a year. Until now, he’s largely done so with collaborations as a featured artist, or with less flashy promotional cuts. He takes a big step into the field with his first proper country single, which features the style’s biggest star.
“I Had Some Help” by Malone and Morgan Wallen was released on Friday (May 10), and it’s become an immediate sales hit. The track bolted right to the summit on iTunes’ ranking of the bestselling tracks on the platform in the U.S.
The Malone/Wallen collaboration is so popular, it actually appears inside the top five on the American iTunes chart twice.
