Last year, Apple did not need to have an elaborate supply chain as only the iPhone 15 Pro Max would receive the tetraprism camera upgrade. However, with the two flagships sporting this change, the company must place more orders for them, and according to the latest report, that can only be fulfilled by allowing more manufacturers into the fold.
