We’re just days away from Samsung Galaxy Unpacked on July 10, and the tech giant has now come about as close as possible to pre-announcing its news — by sending reported takedown requests to the X social network where a leaker published purported images of the widely expected Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldable devices.
Evan Blass, a well-known industry leaker, published what appeared to be marketing images for the company’s upcoming devices last week, adding to the torrent of details that have spread across the internet ahead of its Galaxy Unpacked event being held in Paris on July 10.
Samsung’s seeming response came Monday, when Blass published an image of more than a dozen emails from « Twitter Support » citing takedown notices received under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
