The wife and daughters of BBC broadcaster John Hunt were killed by a man with a crossbow on Tuesday.
Tributes are pouring in for the wife and two daughters of a BBC host after they were killed by a man with a crossbow near London on Tuesday.
Kyle Clifford, 26, was taken into custody on Wednesday after an hours-long manhunt. He is accused of killing the three victims in a « targeted » attack in Hertfordshire. Officials believe he was known to the victims.
The victims were 61-year-old Carol Hunt, 28-year-old Hannah Hunt and 25-year-old Louise Hunt, BBC reported. Carol Hunt was the wife of BBC Five Live racing commentator John Hunt. The two had three children together, Hannah Hunt, Louise Hunt and another daughter.
Heidi Dawson, controller of the BBC radio station, said the news is « utterly devastating » in a note to staff.
« Our thoughts are with John and his family at this incredibly difficult time and we will provide him with all the support we can », Dawson said.
