Five Chinese tourists from Hong Kong were among victims, says Thai government spokesman.
Two children from Hong Kong were among nine passengers killed in a plane crash in Thailand on Thursday, according to media reports in Bangkok.
The small turboprop plane on a domestic flight lost radio and radar contact with air traffic control 11 minutes after it took off from Bangkok, with all nine passengers aboard dying in the crash in Chachoengsao province.
A Thai government spokesman told local media that five passengers were Chinese tourists from Hong Kong.
Among the Chinese passport holders were two children, aged 12 and 13, born in Shanghai, Thai media reported.
