Trump-Vance ticket has done combined 58 interviews since last month compared to 18 for Harris-Walz

The Donald Trump-JD Vance ticket has sat down for dozens more interviews than their opponents since the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz ticket formed last month.
Former President Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, have sat down for at least 58 interviews since the Harris-Walz ticket was formed, compared to 18 non-scripted interviews for the Democratic presidential ticket thus far.
After weeks of avoiding interviews, Vice President Kamala Harris has stepped up her appearances in recent days, sitting for a digital video interview with Wired on Wednesday, her campaign announced. She also spoke with a Spanish radio host and the National Association of Black Journalists, and on Thursday she spoke with supporter Oprah Winfrey; while it had interview elements, it functioned more as a campaign event with celebrity guests.
Harris was interviewed by Action News 6 ABC earlier this month in Philadelphia, which came on the heels of a report that her campaign is looking for her to do more local interviews in swing states like Pennsylvania.
Meanwhile, Trump has been all over and sat down with « Full Measure » journalist Sharyl Attkisson on Sunday for an interview in which he made news by suggesting he will not run again in four years if he loses to Harris in November.
