The Buffalo Bills traded for wide receiver Amari Cooper from the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday, adding a much-needed threat in the passing game for the Bills offense. The Bills acquired Cooper and a sixth-round pick and the Browns received a third-and seventh-round pick.
The trade brings Cooper from a 1-5 Browns team with a maligned quarterback situation to a Bills squad that has made the playoffs each of the last five seasons.
Cooper shared his immediate reaction to the trade to The Athletic’s Josina Anderson.
