Minecraft’s latest biome, the Pale Garden, would feel a lot more like an actual garden if it added these planets for players to find.or avoid.
Playing into the main focus of Minecraft’snewest biome, most of the community has vocalized wanting to see more flora in the Pale Garden. As this supposed « garden » seems more like a forest in its current iteration, the need for new plants, flowers, or other natural features added specifically for this new, eerie location is clear.
With the Pale Garden already featuring an array of new and exclusive pale foliage so far, adding flowers and vegetation to break up the slightly swamp-inspired landscape would add a lot to this garden, alongside structures that better cement the garden image in players’ minds. While plenty of suggestions have been posted online, here are five plant concepts that could greatly add to the ominous atmosphere of the Pale Garden.5 Hedge Maze
As an in-between of a building and a plant, abandoned and overgrown hedge mazes found throughout the Pale Garden biome could add to the sense of age and decay the trees and hanging moss seem to indicate. With the Creaking stalking through the pale grass, this maze could have what amounts to « scare actors », should a Creaking spawn within or at an entrance.
Since the hedge maze would function as a building, there would be the opportunity for chests with rewards to be hidden inside. Outside of that, having the new pale oak leaves used in this kind of build could better demonstrate its building potential for players, or suggest lore as to why the maze was built in the first place.
