After two seasons, with 24 episodes adapting roughly 74 chapters of the manga, Mashle: Magic and Muscles has already left its magic mark on the anime community. While the Harry Potter parody initially turned people away from this franchise, it’s become a unique shonen comedy of its own caliber over the past few years. The second season left us off around the halfway point of the manga, giving us a good idea of how much will be adapted into the next season.
Looking at how many chapters make it into each season, it appears the anime will cover the Tri-Magic-Athalon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc as well as the beginning of the Eclipse Arc; using this information, we can make an educated guess that a fourth season will eventually come out to finish off the rest of the Eclipse Arc for the anime adaptation. But as there is no concrete info to confirm the exact date of the premiere Mashle’s third season, there isn’t a way to predict when the fourth and potentially final season will come out. The last arc covered by the show was the Divine Visionary Selection Exam Arc. This arc primarily focused on the yearly event, loosely inspired by the Tri-Wizard Tournament from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, known as the Divine Visionary Selection Exam, which is an event held by all three magical schools to pick the best candidate for the Divine Visionary Program. Divine Visionaries are the leaders of the Magical Beaureu, a much clearer parody of the Harry Potter franchise’s Ministry of Magic. Mash feels a lot of pressure to become a Divine Visionary now that the fact he doesn’t have magical powers is begun to spread since the events of the first season’s finale, and the main antagonist of the series is shown to be on the move, coming for Mash.
