MAR-A-LAGO, Florida – U.S. President-Elect Donald Trump has announced he will be appointing former Arkansas governor and staunch Israeli supporter Mike Huckabee as the U.S. Ambassador to Israel.
Huckabee, a former Baptist pastor, served as governor of Arkansas from 1996 to 2007. He ran for president in 2008 and again in 2016.
