Ukraine will lose the war against Russia if the U.S. cuts its aid, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said.
Zelensky made the comment in an interview with Trey Yingst, Fox News’ chief foreign correspondent, who asked him what would happen if the U.S. cut military funding to Ukraine.
« If they will cut, we will—I think we will lose », Zelensky said, adding that Ukraine would stay and fight no matter what. « We have our production, but it is not enough to prevail. And I think it is not enough to survive. »
The interview aired on Tuesday, as the war—which began in 2022 after Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine—passed the 1,000-day mark.
