Former ‘Bachelorette’ lead Katie Thurston shared that she’s been diagnosed with cancer and is preparing to move to Los Angeles for more tests and treatment.
Former Bachelorette lead Katie Thurston has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
On Saturday, February 15, Thurston, 34, took to Instagram to share the news.
« I experienced a range of emotions over the past two weeks. Despair. Anger. Sadness. Denial. And then strength. Purposeful. Ready. I cried a lot. I tried to even make a video instead of this post and couldn’t », she wrote.
Thurston noted that her Valentine’s Day looked vastly different than everyone else’s because she needed to plan out some things, including where to live that’s closer to Los Angeles, where she will be undergoing treatment — which will include chemotherapy.
