16 game, one young Tar Heels fan has plenty to smile about.
During the Friday afternoon matchup in Birmingham, Alabama,
some UNC players wore hair scrunchies that were crocheted by 9-year-old Gracie
Lanning, a Chapel Hill resident and life-long Tar Heels fan.
Gracie made 13 scrunchies while watching UNC defeat West Virginia
on Monday night.
“I just really appreciate and love the team, and I just
think that they don’t get enough support so I just decided to make them,” Lanning
told WRAL.
