Once mistrusting foes, China and the European Union are exploring swapping the EU’s tariffs in favor minimum retail prices on Chinese cars as the knock-on effects of the US trade war continue.
Implemented only last year, the EU’s tariffs could be on the way out already after EU Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic spoke with China’s Commerce Minister Wang Wentao this week.
