A former champion at Augusta National is playing his best golf and shooting up the leaderboard on Saturday at the 89th Masters Tournament.
Moving day at The Masters is underway, and it didn’t take long for the leaderboard to see some major shakeups. Before the leaders even got on the course, a former champion was hunting them down and vaulting his way into contention.
Zach Johnson, who made the cut on the number on Friday at 2-over-par, had his best career round at Augusta on Saturday, carding a 6-under 66. That vaulted him up the leaderboard to 4-under just outside the top 10.
Johnson got the scoring started early with an eagle on the par-5 second hole to get back to even par.
