Shriner’s wife, 51-year-old Jillian Lauren, was not involved in the initial call being investigated by police but quickly became entangled in the matter, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). LAPD officers were dispatched to support California Highway Patrol at a reported hit-and-run on a freeway in the area. Police said three suspects fled the scene on foot and one was last observed behind a residence.
