Some Nintendo Switch 2 players have run into a problem with the battery on their new handheld consoles. The battery indicators are showing Incorrect numbers; some handhelds overestimate while others underestimate the amount of time left to play before the battery dies.
In extreme cases, users report being able to continue playing for 15 minutes or more when the battery level is at 1%.
Nintendo has acknowledged the problem and outlined a quick fix. First, make sure your Switch 2 is running software Version 20.
