Successfully completing paranormal investigations in Phasmophobia is an endeavor that takes a good amount of practice. However, if you manage to hone your supernatural detective skills and tackle every objective there is in each contract, you’ll be able to reap some truly lucrative rewards.
One of the most important things to go for during your investigations in Phasmophobia is the Perfect Investigation bonus. It can be tricky to figure out how to check off all the boxes, so here’s what it entails to ensure you get the bonus (hopefully) every time.
What is a Perfect Investigation in Phasmophobia?
A Perfect Investigation in Phasmophobia is a special bonus that you can earn during each of your investigations, whether it’s a regular one or a Weekly Challenge (e.g. – Hide and Seek Extreme). To earn it, you must complete all qualifying objectives and tasks during an investigation, and, of course, correctly identify the ghost at the location. If you fail to fulfill any of these requirements, you won’t receive the bonus.

How to Get Perfect Investigation in Phasmophobia

This objective requires you to complete all three optional objectives listed at the top of the bulletin board inside the van, next to the monitors. You can view them once the investigation has started, and they can also be checked via your journal while on-site. For instance, if you’re trying to lower your sanity below 25%, you can personally check if you’ve reached the threshold without having to return to the van.
These objectives can range from escaping the ghost during a hunt to evidence-related ones, such as catching the ghost on a Motion Sensor or having it extinguish a Firelight. As of the Chronicle update, other possible optional objectives can include the following:
