The Redmi Pad 2 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, whereas the Xiaomi Pad mini gets the Dimensity 9400+ chipset.
Xiaomi announced the Redmi Pad 2 Pro series and the Pad mini at an event today alongside the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro.
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro lineup consists of the Pad 2 Pro (Wi-Fi), Pad 2 Pro 5G, and a Pad 2 Pro Matte Glass Version. All three variants feature a 12.1-inch LCD display that has a refresh rate of 120Hz, up to 600 nits of brightness, and 2.5K resolution.
The Pad 2 Pro series also supports Dolby Vision, DC dimming, and come with TUV Rheinland Low Blue light certification. Meanwhile, the Matte Glass Version gets an AG nano-texture screen that is claimed to reduce glare by up to 97%.
Redmi’s new tablets are equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC and offer up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of inbuilt storage. The tablets also support storage expansion up to 2TB via a microSD card.
