The second new A24 film of the month, Warfare, comes from director Alex Garland, fresh off last year’s Civil War. Teaming with Iraq War veteran Ray Mendoza, the tense film brings you into the action after the Battle of Ramadi. Based on Mendoza’s real experiences, it follows a Navy SEAL team’s experiences over the course of 95 minutes in real time, and it’s both a technical and performance accomplishment.
