Xiaomi launches Sound 2 Max speaker with 3-way drivers, MTM layout, Dolby Audio, HyperOS, and Super XiaoAi smart assistant support.
Xiaomi has announced the Sound 2 Max Bluetooth speaker during the Xiaomi 17 series launch event. The new speaker is positioned as Xiaomi’s most high-end audio product to date and is priced at 1,999 yuan ($280).Xiaomi Sound 2 Max Specifications
The Sound 2 Max features a professional-grade three-way acoustic system. It includes two 4-inch 30W woofers, a 4-inch 30W midrange driver, and a 1.5-inch 10W tweeter. Xiaomi uses a symmetrical MTM (Mid-Tweeter-Mid) layout with coaxial mid-high drivers to ensure better sound integration and clarity. The speaker delivers a frequency response range of 47Hz to 22kHz and reaches a maximum sound pressure level of 101dB SPL.
Xiaomi equips the speaker with its proprietary computational audio engine, offering Classic, Vocal, and Professional Monitor modes along with six-level EQ tuning for treble, midrange, and bass.
