Gemini will replace Google Assistant in all compatible smart home devices, including cameras, video doorbells, and speakers. Thanks to its generative AI technology, these devices will be able to process, understand, and respond in natural language. What will Gemini for Home do?
Aside from understanding and responding in a more conversational way than Google Assistant, Google Home will support richer notifications through Gemini. You’ll be able to ask the upgraded virtual assistant more specific questions about your smart home, like « When did the kids come home from school today? »
