After the actress went viral for her see-through red carpet look at Variety’s Power of Women event Wednesday, the “View” co-hosts discussed the 28-year-old not “shy[ing] away from [her] sexuality.”
Griffin, 36, told viewers on Friday that she is “so over the Sydney Sweeney hate.”
She added that Sweeney “gets all this criticism of, ‘She only gets big parts because of her sexuality and because she shows her big boobs.’”
However, Griffin insisted that the “Euphoria” star is “a phenomenal actor.”
She noted that “women can’t win,” pointing out that when Sweeney gained weight for her role in “Christy,” haters trolled the Emmy nominee for “let[ting] herself go.
